September 30, 2021
Managing Partner and Management Committee member Barbara Williams recently attended the 2021 Girls Inc. Champions Breakfast in Fort Worth. This annual event recognizes Girls Inc. of Tarrant County’s Bold Women honorees, whose leadership and advocacy positively affect girls and women. This event also recognizes Girls Inc. of Tarrant County’s business partners and Champions for Girls giving society members.
“Girls Inc. of Tarrant County puts advocacy into action–providing mentorship opportunities and exposure to STEM and college-readiness programs,” said Williams. “It’s a privilege to support this organization, and I look forward to seeing all of the doors it can open for girls and women in Fort Worth.”
Williams has long demonstrated her commitment to empowering Fort Worth-area girls and women, with service on the Girls Inc. of Tarrant County Board of Directors for nearly a decade and as its Board Chair in 2013. Williams continues to be a Girls Inc. Champion and remains deeply involved in her community.
