Ms. Estrada supports Linebarger’s government relations strategy, cultivating relationships with key lawmakers and stakeholders, and advocating for the firm’s interests.

Estrada brings extensive experience with the inner workings of Texas state government, most recently with the Texas Association of Counties (TAC) where she served as Associate Director of Legislative Services and Legislative Consultant for six years.

Estrada previously was a governmental affairs consultant at Davis Kaufman PLLC, where she spent two years developing legislative strategies, conducting policy research, and advising on legislation. She previously served as a committee director and committee clerk in the Texas House of Representatives for the Committee on County Affairs. She began her career as a clerk in the House Committee Coordinator’s office.

Katy Estrada earned her bachelor’s degree in public relations from Texas Tech University in 2008. She also holds a Master of Public Administration from Texas State University.
