Partner Tshomba Mayers represents our clients in the collection of delinquent property taxes and makes routine appearances in tax-related proceedings based out of our Dallas office.

Before joining Linebarger in 2017, Mr. Mayers clerked for Presiding Justice Fred L. Banks and Associate Justice James E. Graves at the Mississippi Supreme Court. At the end of his clerkship, Mr. Mayers entered private practice, representing his clients in various matters in state and federal court.

Mr. Mayers is admitted to the State Bar of Texas, the State Bar of Tennessee, the State Bar of Mississippi, the U.S. District Court, Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi, and the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Mayers is a member of the Dallas Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., the Dallas Bar Association and the J. L. Turner Legal Association and has served as a board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mississippi.

He received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Jackson State University in 1998. He went on to attend law school at Texas Southern University’s Thurgood Marshall School of Law, graduating with honors in 2001.
