Linebarger Helps Foundation Distribute $100,000 in Educational Grants

Partners from Linebarger’s Fort Worth and Dallas offices joined the Lewisville Independent School District Education Foundation (LEF) in awarding more than $100,000 in teacher grants across Lewisville ISD last month. After a competitive application and blind-review process, 65 teachers in 45 schools received grants. Linebarger supports LEF with funding for their grant program.

“It is an honor to celebrate these teachers and administrators and the great work they’re doing in Lewisville ISD. LEF has a phenomenal impact on the District. These grants work to strengthen Lewisville schools and the education it provides to its students,” says Corey Fickes, Capital Partner in the Fort Worth office and Management Committee member. Teacher grants were awarded across all five LISD high school feeder schools totaling $103,570.00.  

“The excitement and inventiveness of LISD’s teachers is truly amazing, and we are proud to be a part of LEF’s teacher grant program that enables those teachers to provide creative learning experiences for their students,” says Fort Worth Partner Jordan Stimpson. This is the fifth consecutive year that LEF has awarded $100,000 or more in teacher grants to LISD.
